Samuel Howard Duggins was born 26 November 1908 in Bell County, Texas and died 11 July 1973 in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas. He was the son of Matilda Arizona Kile and Samuel Houston Duggins. He married to Maurine Sumner about 1929 in Texas. She was the daughter of Thaddeus Sumner and Lena Pierson. He next married Alma Mary Ernst Straach on 12 November 1948 in Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas and died January 30, 2003 in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas.
