Richard Curtis Kile was born 16 July 1915 in Coleman County, Texas. He is the son of Luther Austin Kile and Ulala Mahala McQueen. He married Oleta Joy Estes on 23 May 1952. She was born 27 February 1914 and died 16 April 1994. She was the daughter of Roy Estes and Jessie.
