Funeral services for Juanita Turner, 62, of 106 North Jefferson will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Rock Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Douglas Gardner of Circleback, Texas officiating.
The VFW Auxiliary will conduct the graveside services at Prairie Haven Cemetery.
Mrs. Turner, who was born March 26, 1916 in Mitchell County, Texas, died Friday afternoon at Llano Estacado Medical Center after a short illness.
She was preceded in death one year ago by her husband, R. L. Turner.
Mrs. Turner was employed by Eagle Bus Company of Hobbs for 16 years.
Survivors include one son, Steven, of Eunice; two sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Bobbitt of Hobbs and Mrs. Alice Showalter of Capron, Oklahoma; three brothers, L. S. [Bunch] Kyle, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Bernie B. Kyle, Summers, Arkansas, and Henry Kyle of Anchorage, Alaska, and one grand-daughter.
Pallbearers include Buddy Brice, Carmen Lane, W. T. Kerley, Monte Dennis, Lyle Gholson and Vernon Dawson.
Honorary pallbearers will be other members of Post 3274, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
