Funeral services for Ted. E. Jacobs, 79, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, in Murray-Orwosky Chapel with the Rev. Frank Kuhl officiating.
Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park with Donnie Cope, Ricky Cope, Loren Jacobs, John Jacobs, Ted Jacobs, Ray Jacobs and Ryan Strasner serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Jacobs died at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Paris. He married Mildred Smith on October 2, 1937, in Hopkins County. She survives.
Mr. Jacobs was retired from Alfords of Dallas. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and an Army veteran.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Pat McCoy of Brashear; two sons, James Jacobs of Houston and John Roy Jacobs of Mesquite; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
