Coleman Services for Sammie Duggins, 64, of Bangs were to be at 2:30 p.m. today in Stevens Funeral Home here with burial in Santa Anna Cemetery.
Mr. Duggins died Wednesday night in Brownwood Community Hospital. He was born in Santa Anna November 26, 1908 and had lived in Coleman County all his life. He was a retired stock farmer, a veteran of World War I, and a Baptist.
He married Alma Straach November 12, 1948 in Kerrville. Surviving are his wife, a son Kenneth Duggins of Marshall; a stepson Merle Straach of Coleman; a stepdaughter, Mrs. S. B. Roberts of San Antonio, two sisters; Mrs. Jesse Howard of Santa Anna and Mrs. Joe Schwarz of Sarasota, Florida, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
