OLETA JOY ESTES KILE, 80.
Oleta Joy Estes Kile, age 80, of Coleman, died Saturday, April 16, 1994 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today [Tuesday[ at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Dunning officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Ranch Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Oleta Joy Estes was born February 22, 1914 in Coleman County, Texas, the daughter of the late Royal Vernon and Jessie Lockard Dale Estes. She grew up in coleman County and attended school at Brown Ranch. On May 22, 1952 she married Richard Curtis Kile in San Angelo. She lived in Sabinal, Texas for 38 years; worked in a fabric store; was a Baptist and a member of AARP.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Curtis Kile of Coleman; one son, Wayne Gail Sikes of Midland; one daughter, Linda Leland Burke of San Antonio; six grandchildren, Holly Hall, Glenna K. Khadr, Mathew Armstrong, Capt. Eric Armstrong, Kindra Holder and Clifton Sikes; five great-grandchildren, Ashley and Clayton Armstrong, Tyler and Zachery Armstrong and Kinsey Holder; one brother, Clomer.
Pallbearers will be Gilbert Young, Lee Bolin, Danny Lane, David Holder, Bobby Adian and Kerry Adian. Honorary pallbearers are Louis Parker, Lon Rushing, Erwin Fowler, Pete Castner, John Burke and Michael Burke.
