Lela Kile, age 62, went home to her Maker on Sunday, April 3, 2005 while hospitalized in Bedford, Texas. She will be laid to rest at Leaday, Texas. Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, Texas will be handling funeral arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Leaday Cemetery. Lela Mearl Kile was born January 23, 1943 in Oceanside, California to Elmo and Retha Justice Hudson. As a child, her family moved to Leaday, Texas where she grew up and attended school at Mozelle. She married Edward Mack Kile of Coleman, Texas on June 6, 1964. Her parents and a sister, Maudi Pearl, preceded her in death. Survivors include husband Edward Kile of Euless, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Sandra Kile, grandson Wesley, granddaughters Whitney and Christy all of Saginaw, Texas; brothers, Sonny Hudson of Coleman, Joey Hudson of Kyle, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Bobby Harendt of Kyle, Texas; step-mother, Buila Hudson of Coleman; mother-in-law, Pearl Kile of Coleman and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and special cousin, Joyce Harris of San Angelo, Texas. Lela was a very unique and loving wife and mother. She loved her flowers and Spring time. She will be missed by all of her friends and relatives. Goodbye, Lela.
