     DIED:  Monday in Copperopolis.
     SERVICES:  Graveside 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park.  Visitation from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel.
     BACKGROUND:  Native of Coleman County, Texas.  Lived in Modesto most of his life before moving to Copperopolis three years ago.  Worked at Tri-Valley for 21 years as a can-line mechanic.
     SURVIVORS:  Wife Dolly Redding of Copperopolis.  Two sons, Steven and Stanley Redding, both of Ceres.  Daughter, Sheryl Redding of Ceres.  Two brothers, Rex Redding of Oakley and Don Redding of Modesto.  Two sisters, Alice Perry of Ceres and Wanda Morse of Copperopolis.  Three grandchildren.
