Bennie H. Kile, 78, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
     Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Baker Heights Church of Christ with Gayle Potter and Bill Baskett officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. in Brown Ranch Cemetery near Coleman, directed by Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 U.S. Hwy 277 South.
     Mr. Kile was born in Coleman County and attended school in Mozelle. He married Lois Halpain in 1945 in Waco. He moved to Abilene in 1960 from Anson and worked for Gandy's for 19 years and Ben E. Keith for 10 years until retiring. He was a member of Good Sam's Travel Club and Baker Heights Church of Christ.
     Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; two sons, Collin Kile of Abilene and James Beasley of Cameron; two daughters, Kay Blasche of Waco and Donna Van Benschoten of Matamoras, Pa.; two brothers, Wesley Kile and Curtis Kile, both of Coleman; one sister, Winnie Lane of Bangs; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
