She was the daughter of John Taylor McQueen and Eliza Ann Diggs. She married William Hill Crenshaw 17 March 1877 in Grapeland, Houston County, Texas. He was born 22 September 1855 in Marshall County, Mississippi and died 14 January 1931 in Dripping Springs, Hays County, Texas. He was the son of Henry J. Crenshaw and Ulala Mahala Harman.
