Know all men by these presents that I J T McQueen of Houston County for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and nine & 36/100 dollars to me in hand paid by W T McQueen of the state and county aforesaid the receipt thereof is acknowledged to by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said W T McQueen his heirs and assigns forever all my interest in no certain parcel of land lying in the county of Houston and containing three hundred and twenty acres my said interest being one hundred and sixty acres the said being the W T Kirkpatrick about 4 miles north of the town of Crockett and known as the preemption survey of W T Kirkpatrick Patents 3rd day of Feby 1888--Beginning 230 S 10°d E from the most easterly corner of H Orender 640 acre survey --------------------------------* S 10°d 7 a Block 7 in ---- N 60° W 4 7/10 --- Thence W 75° d 40 stake from which a ------ -- W 38 ½°W 9 7/10 -- a ---- -- S 7 ½°E 6 --- Thence S 15°E at 1 49 --- stake from which a sweet gum ---- N 6 ½E ------ ----- ---- N 51°W 5 ---. Thence S 75°W at 1 40 --- stake on Orenders line from which a --- of --- W 33° W 6 -- a ---- -- ------- --- S 78 ½°E 5 ---. Thence W 15° W at 1 49 -- to the place of the beginning. Making 320 acres more or less__ To have and to hold the above described premises together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said WT McQueen his heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself my ceirs executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said one hundred and sixty acres my interest as aforesaid unto the said WT McQueen his heirs and assigns against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming a to claim the ---- or any part thereof. Witness my hand at Crockett Texas. This the 11th day of January AD 1890.
