Luther Preston Kile was born 21 February 1913 in Coleman County, Texas and died 10 January 1986 in Temple, Bell County, Texas. He was the son of Luther Austin Kile and Ulala Mahala McQueen. He married Ruby Lane Pitts 22 July 1939 in Coleman County, Texas. She was born 23 July 1921 in Coleman County, Texas and died 2 April 2006. She is the daughter of William Henry Pitts and Lena Mary Davis.
