James Nicholas Kyle was born 23 August 1904 in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota and died 4 June 1971 in Oakland, Alameda County, California. He was the son of Elias Jacob Kyle and Rosa Susan Sauber. He married Dorothy Ward Moss. She was born 10 September 1910 in New Jersey.
