James Garfield Pool was born 30 December 1888 in Williamson County, Texas and died 1958 in Odem, San Patricio County, Texas. He was the son of Parnesse Jacob Kyle and David Preston Pool. He is buried in Sinton Cemetery, Sinton, San Patricio County, Texas. He married Edith Clifton. She was born about 1883 and died 27 August 1967 in Hopkins County, Texas.
