Cleveland W. Halpain, 58, died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday in a Marlin hospital. He resided at 1104 Spring St., Waco. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Commaleg's Chapel, burial in Robinson Cemetery. Survivors: widow, Mrs. Autie Halpain (Waco); dau: Mrs. Margaret Ritchey & Mrs. Lois Kile (Waco); sis: Mrs. Ollie Dansby (Waco), Mrs. R. E. Meeks (Gatesville), Mrs. Ella Baker (Ballinger); bro: John (Austin); 3 grnd children. Mr. Halpain was a member of James Edmond Post of the American Legion & Odd Fellows Lodge 187.
