George Raymond Redding was born 18 March 1934 in Coleman County, Texas, and died 3 November 1986 in Copperopolis, Calaveras County, California. He was the son of Mattie Lavonia Kile and Otto Saunders Redding. He married Dolly Lou Roat. She was born 4 August 1934 in Fort Scott, Bourbon County, Kansas.
