Elias Jacob Kyle was born 4 March 1880, in Taylor, Williamson County, Texas and died 31 March 1945, in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. He was the son of John Wesley Kile and Nancy Mary Ann Fish. He married Susan Rosa Sauber on 6 January 1909, in Billings, Yellowstone County, Montana. She was born 14 June 1883 in Lakeville, Dakota County, Minnesota and died 1 January 1980 in Bakersfield, Kern County, California. She was the daughter of Nicholas Sauber and Catherine Wagner. They are both buried in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Bakersfield, California.
