COUNTY OF COLEMAN  ()                         KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

That I, J. W. Kile of the County of Coleman State of Texas for and in consideration of the sum of Eighteen hundred and no/100 Dollars to me paid and secured to be paid by W. J. Carroll as follows:  Four hundred and no/100 Dollars cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged.
     W. J. Carroll hereby assumes and agrees to pay off when due the following notes now standing against the property herein conveyed:  Notes Numbers 2, 3 & 4 each for $200.00 and note Number 5 for $300.00 given by J. W. Kile to W. R. Shepard and wife M. F. Shepard dated December 11th 1915 and due on or before November 1st 1918, 1919, 1920 & 1921 respectively.  Also the sume of $300.00 to A. H. Bell of Brownwood Texas on November 1st 1917 being the balance of due on the last three notes described in the Deed recorded here referred to said three notes aforesaid having been assigned to A. H. Bell and payment thereof being extended to Nov. 1st 1917.
     The said W. J. Carroll herewith give to J. W. Kile two promissary notes of even date herewith each for the sum of $100.00 due on or before one and two years from date respectively.  All the abovementioned notes bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum from date until maturity and 10% thereafter retain the Vendor Lein and further provide of 10% additional as attys fees if collected by legal proceedings have GRANTED SOLD AND CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT SEEL AND CONVEY unto the said W. J. Carroll of the County of Coleman State of Texas all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in Coleman County7 Texas being eighty one and 4/10 (81 4/10) acres of land out of the S. W. one fourth of survey No. 37 in the name of B.B.B. & C.R.R.Co. being about 8 miles S 78 W from the town of Coleman meted and bounded as follows:- Beginning at the S. E. corner of a tract of 81 4/10 acres out of the S.W. one fourth of said survey No. 37 sold to W. S. Walker a stone mound on the south line of said survey and north line of Burnett County School land survey from which a L.B.brs No 40 ½ E 21 8/10 vrs: Thence N 957 ½ vrs to the N.E. corner of said Walker tract a rock set in ground from which a P.O. 8" brsS 75 ½ E 8 8/10 vrs.  Thence S 89 east to following S line of a tract formally owned by Felix Smith 485 vrs to its S.E. corner a stone mound from which a P.O. 12" brs N 69 ½ W 40 vrs;  Thence S 950 vrs to the S. W. corner of the S.E. onefourth of said sur.No.37 a stone mound from which a Block Jack brs S 58 ½ I. 2 4/10 vrs.  Thence W 485 vrs to the place of beginning being the same land conveyed to W.R.Shepard by J.W.Pauley and wife by deed dated Aug 23rd 1910 recorded in Vol. 86 on page 228 Coleman County deed records here referred to and made a part hereof.
     TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises together with all and singular the right a appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said W.J.Carroll his heirs and assigns forever; and I do hereby bind myself my heirs executors and administrators to WARRAND AND FOREVER DEFEND all singular the said premises whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim thesame or any part thereof.
     BUt it is expressly agreed and stipulated that the VENDOR'S LIEN is retained against the above described property premises and improvements until the above described notes and all interest thereon are fully paid according to their face ane tenor effect and reading when this deed shall become absolute.

COUNTY OF COLEMAN  ()                         KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
     That Whereas J. W. Kile of the County of Coleman and State of Texas did on the 29th day of November 1916 Bargain Sell and Convey unto W. J. Carroll of the County of Coleman and State of Texas certain lot or parcel of land sutuated in the County of Coleman and State of Texas described as follows towit:        Being 81-4/10 acres out of the S. W. 1/4 of Survey No. 37 in the Name of the B. B. B. & C. R. R. Co.
      the instrument of said conveyance being duly recorded in Volume 106 Page 419 of the Deed Records of Coleman County Texas to which reference is hereby made for further description of the said property and
     WHEREAS the Vendor's Lien was expressly reserved in said conveyance against the said lot or parcel of land to secure the payment of a part of the purchase price thereof as evidenced by Two certain Vendor's Lien notes executed by the said W. J. Carroll in favor of the said J. W. Kile as stipulated and described in said deed of conveyance and
     WHEREAS the said Vendor's Lien notes having been fully paid and discharged:
     NOW THEREFORE I, J. W. Kile of the County of Coleman and State of Texas legal owner and holder of the said V. L. Notes for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by W. J. Carroll of the County of Coleman and State of Texas in full payment of said V. L. Notes as aforesaid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do by these presents hereby sell convey quit-claim and release unto the said W. J. Carroll heirs and assigns all my right title and interest in and to the said lot or parcel of land and premises thereto appurtenant and heretofore held by virtue of and to the extent of said lien as evidenced by said liquidated notes.
     In Testimony Whereof I hereto set my hand at Valera Texas this 16th day of July 1918.
