Wm. Crenshaw Rites at Glen Cove Cemetery
William J. Crenshaw, 91, of Ingleside (formerly of Coleman), died Thursday, October 2, 1980 at 9:40 a.m. at the Doctor's Hospital in Corpus Christi. The funeral service was Sunday, October 5, at 1:30 p.m. in the Aransas Pass Church of Christ with arrangements made by the Marshall Funeral Home.
The Masonic graveside service will be at the Glen Cove Cemetery, Sunday, October 12, at 1:30 p.m. with Mr. Gerald Stockstill officiating. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Born June 19, 1889 in Grapeland, Texas, Mr. Crenshaw was the son of Alonzo J. and Martha Francis Strother Crenshaw. He was a carpenter, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Church of Christ.
The body will lie in state at Stevens Funeral Home from Friday afternoon until service time.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Jimmie C. Brickley of Aransas Pass, Mrs. Christine Eagan of Rockport and Mrs. Etha Stewart of California; one son, A.J. (Pat) Crenshaw of Aransas Pass; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
