Mary Crenshaw was born 13 December 1817 in South Carolina and died 7 April 1905 in Clarksville, Red River County, Texas. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Crenshaw and Sophia Lenderman. She married Ansel Joiner 11 May 1846 in Marshall County, Mississippi. He was born about 1806 in North Carolina and died 30 November 1871 in Holly Springs, Marshall County, Mississippi. He was the son of Amos Joiner and Easther Jent.
